The surprise tea party brought together the adults and the children they had mentored.

As the adults and children joyfully reunited, the Princess made her entrance through a side door, apologizing for interrupting the party and expressing her hope that they didn’t mind.

In heartwarming photos from the event, Brenda, a retired mental health nurse from Sussex who volunteers in local schools, can be seen holding hands with the Princess while engaged in a spirited conversation.

During the event, Princess Catherine also had the pleasure of meeting George and Henry Barnard, aged 12 and 10 respectively.

These brothers have benefited from musical therapy at the East Anglia Children’s Hospice, an organization for which Kate is a patron.

The Princess spent 15 minutes chatting with the boys about their love for music.

She shared that Prince George enjoys playing the guitar, Princess Charlotte loves singing, and Prince Louis is a fan of the drums.

The Princess also had the opportunity to speak with Ray, a music therapist from the East Anglia Children’s Hospice.

Ray has been providing music therapy and support to a family whose young son was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy at just 18 months old.

The Princess was deeply moved by Ray’s dedication and the positive impact he has had on the family.

Another inspiring individual who had the chance to meet Princess Catherine was Russell, a childhood football coach from Manchester.

Russell played a crucial role in building a child’s confidence and nurturing his passion for football.

Reflecting on the royal visit, he described it as breathtaking and mentioned how the Princess’s presence filled the room with excitement.

Princess Catherine looked radiant in a festive red cardigan with a white collar, which she paired with matching trousers.

Her outfit, a £1,350 creation from her favorite brand Mayu Mayu, perfectly complemented the joyful atmosphere of the event.
