The Wildlife Photographer of the Year Awards took place at the renowned Natural History Museum on October 21, 2014, and the Princess of Wales graced the event with her presence.
Regarded as the most prestigious nature photography competition in the world, the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition attracts participants of all ages, including both amateur and professional photographers.
It is worth mentioning that Catherine is the patron of the Natural History Museum and has attended numerous engagements at this iconic London-based institution in the past.
Catherine’s choice of outfit for the evening was nothing short of breathtaking.
She exuded grace and sophistication in a baby blue dress, complemented by delicate pink accessories.
The dress, a bespoke creation by Jenny Packham, was described by the designer herself as a pale jade hue in an Instagram post shared during the event.
Susan from What Catherine Wore, known for her expert analysis of the princess’s fashion choices, found a couple of similar designs in Packham’s upcoming Spring 2015 collection as well as her current Cruise 2014 collection.
Adding to her ensemble, Catherine carried a pink clutch bag designed by Alexander McQueen, one of her favored designers.
Although it bore a resemblance to McQueen’s pink python clutch, it featured a unique, custom-made clasp.
Those familiar with Catherine’s style know that she often opts for bespoke clasps on her Alexander McQueen clutch bags, deviating from the signature skull clasps associated with the brand.
This particular bag was part of a previous collection and could be purchased for £1,450 from MatchesFashion.com.
Continuing her fashion choices, Catherine donned her Elk Kaye Bennett Agata bow sandals, which had previously been seen at the ARK Charity Gala in 2011.
These sandals were also paired with a Jenny Packham dress during the same year, demonstrating the princess’s ability to effortlessly mix and match her wardrobe.
Turning our attention to Catherine’s jewelry, she adorned herself with a new necklace and earring set designed by Monica Vinader.
