Prince William recently opened up about the birthday celebrations of his daughter, Princess Charlotte.
During a visit to Babcock Vehicle Engineering on Tuesday, William learned about the company’s significant contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly their creation of a new prototype of ventilators.
It was during this visit that the company’s lead HR business partner, Jenna Jackson, inquired about Princess Charlotte’s birthday, which took place on Sunday.
According to Hello magazine, William responded by saying, “She had a lovely day, thank you.”
He further shared that last year, Charlotte celebrated her birthday during the lockdown, but this year, they were fortunate enough to have another family join them for the celebration.
Reflecting on how quickly children grow up, William added, “They grow up very fast.
It was great fun.”
To mark Princess Charlotte’s birthday, a new portrait of her was taken by her mother, Kate Middleton.
This portrait showcases a striking resemblance between Charlotte and her father.
Comparisons can be drawn from Prince William’s own childhood photos, highlighting similarities such as the gleam in their eyes and their cheeky grins.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge themselves have acknowledged Charlotte’s resemblance to her father.
During a visit to the Kidmat Centre in January 2020, the couple encountered an impressive cake display featuring a red, white, and blue cake surrounded by cupcakes.
Each cupcake featured photos of Kate and William, capturing various moments from their lives.
Prince William was amazed when he pointed to a portrait of himself as a youngster and remarked, “Is that me?
That looks just like Charlotte.
That is incredible.”
Kate agreed, stating, “It looks so much like Charlotte.”
For the long weekend, it is likely that the family enjoyed their time at Anmer Hall, their country home situated on Queen Elizabeth’s Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, approximately 100 miles north of London.
This weekend was made possible due to a public holiday on Monday in the UK.
Prince William’s visit to Babcock Vehicle Engineering aimed to recognize the company’s exceptional efforts in ensuring the smooth operation of various essential services during the pandemic.
The company played a crucial role in supporting the police, military, air ambulances, emergency services, civil service, and other organizations.
