Princess Kate Middleton, the wife of Prince William, has often expressed her gratitude for being a part of the royal family.
Recently, during a visit to Shirehall Care Home in Cardiff, Princess Kate displayed her humility when a resident mistook her for Prince William’s assistant.
The royal couple, currently on a break from official duties due to Princess Kate’s recovery from stomach surgery, met with resident John Drew Smith at the care home.
Last year, Prince William and Princess Kate virtually connected with the staff and residents of the care home, engaging in activities like weekly bingo sessions.
During their in-person visit, an 87-year-old resident, John Drew Smith, humorously pointed at Kate and asked William if she was his assistant.
Despite the light-hearted confusion, Kate handled the situation gracefully, jokingly remarking to her husband, “Well, I’m your assistant, I have been for a long time.”
Known for her quick wit and charm, Princess Kate has always maintained a down-to-earth demeanor, even when faced with unexpected situations.
She once mentioned to a friend how fortunate she feels to have Prince William by her side.
The couple’s visit to the care home marked a heartwarming interaction with the residents, showcasing their genuine care and compassion.
Princess Kate has been out of the public eye since undergoing planned stomach surgery in London on January 16th.
This break from royal duties has allowed her to focus on her recovery and well-being.
