Princess Kate, while recuperating from adrenal surgery at the London Clinic in Marylebone, received a visit from her husband, Prince William.
However, her three children, ten-year-old Prince George, eight-year-old Princess Charlotte, and five-year-old Prince Louis, were not present.
Instead, Princess Kate kept her children informed by sending them video messages through FaceTime, a method reminiscent of how the Prince and Princess of Wales stay connected with their children during royal tours, even when they are far away.
Royal biographer Ingrid Seward expressed her thoughts, stating that she believes it was a carefully considered decision on Princess Kate’s part.
Seward added that she doesn’t think Princess Kate wants to expand her role beyond what it already is and emphasized that although the princess may be exhausted, she will ultimately recover well.
Providing an update on Princess Kate’s progress, Kensington Palace acknowledged that she was steadily improving following the surgical procedure.
The Palace extended special appreciation to the medical team at the hospital for their dedicated care towards Princess Kate during her time there.
After spending 13 days under medical care, Princess Kate was discharged and has since returned home to Windsor, where she has joyfully reunited with her three children post-surgery.
A source from the Palace disclosed that Princess Kate is now gradually resuming her duties from her bed as she prepares for her official engagements in the coming months.
