Princess Kate is reportedly gearing up to dive back into her royal responsibilities with the assistance of a newly appointed private secretary.
Following a recent successful stomach surgery at a prestigious London clinic, the Princess of Wales is currently recuperating in the comfort of her own home.
The Times discloses that Latymcolian Tom White, a former aide to Queen Elizabeth II, has been selected as Kate’s private secretary, filling a position that had been vacant for more than a year.
It is revealed that Kate extended an invitation to Wyatt to accompany her to a public event slated for late 2023, allowing him to gain firsthand insight into the demands of the role.
Notably, the initial contender for the position was Alison Caulfield, renowned for her candid approach in brand management.
White brings with him a wealth of experience, having served under the late Queen Elizabeth II until her passing in September 2022.
The successful outcome of Kate’s surgery has paved the way for her anticipated discharge from the hospital within the next 10 to 14 days, followed by a period of recovery at home.
As per medical advice, her return to official duties is not foreseen until after the Easter period.
Meanwhile, Prince William, King Charles’ son, is evidently placing his immediate family at the forefront of his priorities, even above his royal obligations amidst his father’s ongoing cancer treatment.
In light of recent events, a royal expert suggests that William’s protective stance towards his family may also be attributed to shielding them from the unfolding dynamics involving the Sussexes.
The once-close relationship between William and his brother Harry has reportedly dwindled over time, particularly following Harry’s marriage to Meghan Markle and their relocation to California.
The revelations contained in Harry’s memoir, “Spare,” are said to have further strained their bond.
