Princess Kate’s uncle, Gary Goldsmith, has decided to abandon his plans to write a tell-all book about the royal family’s relationship with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Instead, he will now focus on documenting his business endeavors.
This decision comes after requests were made to exclude any mention of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from his memoir, according to insider sources.
Gary Goldsmith, 58, had initially intended to reveal details of a feud between the royal family and the Sussexes in his book.
However, he has now accepted his sister Carol’s advice and will concentrate on discussing how he achieved his millionaire status.
The source revealed that writing about private family secrets or the ongoing conflict with Harry and Meghan no longer seemed appropriate, especially considering recent events.
It is best for everyone involved to move past that chapter.
Back in 2013, Gary had spoken about his plans to write a memoir, having amassed a £30m fortune through his IT recruitment business.
While he initially assured that he would not disclose any secrets that might embarrass his niece Kate and her husband William, he later reconsidered due to the potential interest surrounding the Sussexes’ feud.
The Middleton family reached out to ensure there would be no surprises, according to the source.
Harry and Meghan will undoubtedly be relieved by Gary’s decision to shift the focus of his book to his business ventures, as there were concerns it could have provoked a retaliatory response from the Sussexes.
In his book, “Spare Harry,” Gary revealed that Harry claimed Kate had made Meghan cry over a disagreement about Princess Charlotte’s flower girl dress just days before their wedding in 2018.
Gary expressed his outrage at Harry’s decision to share such a confidence involving a young child, stating, “How dare Harry share such a confidence?”
He also suggested that Meghan was jealous of Kate because she effortlessly fulfilled her royal role.
These comments from Gary ultimately influenced his decision to solely concentrate on his business ventures in his book.
Any plans to include details about the Sussexes have now been abandoned, as there is no point in further fueling the flames, according to the source.
On October 30th, OK!
Magazine first reported that Kate’s uncle was writing a book, which subsequently led to the creation of several fake A.I.
books supposedly authored by Gary.
These books, uploaded to Amazon on November 19th, falsely claimed that Gary was Meghan’s uncle and featured absurd stories, such as a prank involving Prince William and toilet paper with Gary’s face printed on it.
In response to the existence of these fake books, Gary expressed his intention to take legal action against those responsible for spreading false information.
Amazon has since removed the books from its platform.
