Queen Camilla made headlines once again as she attended the opening of the Maggie’s Royal Free Centre, a cancer support centre located at the Royal Free Hospital in East London.
However, it was not just the occasion that caught people’s attention, but also her outfit choice.
The Queen’s fashion decision has left royal fans divided.
Stepping out in a teal Anna Valentine dress and matching coat, Queen Camilla looked elegant and regal.
She paired the ensemble with Russell and Bromley boots dressage, a black Lunar London Tosca handbag, and her iconic Van Cleef & Arpels vintage Alhambra five motifs bracelet in yellow gold and onyx.
Additionally, she adorned herself with the sweet Alhambra heart bracelet in rose gold and onyx from the same brand, as well as the mini Apollo Kiki McDonagh yellow gold blue topaz and diamond necklace, and a gold plate pendant with a ruby center stone and the initials of her grandchildren from her first marriage.
However, it was the Queen’s new brooch that stole the show.
Adorning her outfit was an antique brooch studded with enamel and diamonds, designed by the renowned London jewelry company, Wartski.
Reports suggest that this brooch was a gift from her husband, King Charles.
While many praised Queen Camilla’s fashion sense and applauded her for looking lovely, there were others who had a different opinion.
Some described the dress and coat combination as “dirty” and criticized the lack of attention to detail in fitting the brooch properly.
One Instagram user commented, “it’s often a bit sloppy for me, a nice new brooch but not the time taken to fit it properly, the brooch is visible which detracts from the design.”
Another expressed their love for the dress but felt less enthusiastic about the coat, stating, “I love the dress, but the coat not as much.
It’s all about the neckline.”
A third user appreciated the effort put into tailoring and shaping at the waist, saying, “standard Camilla fare but I’m very happy to see a little tailoring and some shaping at the waist.
These Anna Valentine pieces are starting to look like big shapeless bags with stitched arms.”
Despite the differing opinions, there is no denying that Queen Camilla made a statement with her outfit choice.
Some fans fell head over heels for her attire, with one user commenting, “Camilla looks lovely, by the way.
This jade color definitely suits her.”
Another admirer simply expressed, “oh, the teal looks so beautiful on her.”
