For years, the public has been captivated by the fairytale romance between Prince Harry and Megan Markle.
However, a recent revelation sheds light on Markle’s time in Canada before she became a part of the royal family.
A royal fan, who wishes to remain anonymous, has come forward with shocking claims about the actress-turned-duchess.
Markle’s journey to fame began when she relocated from Los Angeles to Toronto in 2011 to film the hit TV show, Suits.
It was during this time that she crossed paths with Prince Harry.
Surprisingly, the majority of Canadians were oblivious to her presence and had no idea who she was or why she was there.
A netizen, who happened to have a connection to the filming location, shared their encounter with Markle.
The fan’s uncle worked at one of the buildings where Suits was filmed, and they had the opportunity to visit the office.
To their dismay, they discovered that Markle had a reputation for being difficult to work with.
According to the netizen, Markle would refuse to be in the same vicinity as the office staff, avoiding eye contact and any form of acknowledgment.
This meant that employees had to hurriedly leave the premises on filming days, hoping to avoid any uncomfortable encounters.
Another source, identified as a friend of Markle’s, revealed that her entitled behavior extended beyond the set of Suits.
After her marriage to Prince Harry, the friend started working for Raipmans, a Canadian women’s clothing store.
Colleagues at the store shared stories of Markle making numerous demands during the filming of an ad campaign and in post-production.
Investigative journalist Tom Bauer, known for his unflinching portrayals of famous personalities, delved deeper into Markle’s alleged entitled behavior.
According to Bauer, Markle’s demands began even before she arrived at her hotel suite in Montreal.
She reportedly requested a larger room at a more expensive hotel, despite being relatively unknown in French-speaking Montreal.
Bauer claims that Markle was dissatisfied with the hotel’s offerings, criticizing the bathrobe, slippers, and even the flower displays and wine.
During the filming process, Markle’s discontent continued to manifest.
Bauer alleges that she frequently complained about the production, the clothes, the style, and the script from the confines of her dressing room.
When asked to name Canadian women who inspired her, Markle allegedly responded with indifference, stating that none of them inspired her and refusing to be coerced into mentioning anyone she didn’t believe in.
Bauer’s book also touches on Markle’s obsession with perfection, claiming that she made countless demands during post-production.
These demands ranged from changes to the color of a lipstick to alterations in waistlines.
Shockingly, Markle even requested that her feet be retouched due to online criticism.
In an email, she reportedly pleaded, “Please fix my feet for me.
I get slaughtered online for people picking apart my feet.
There’s a scar on my left foot, and my right foot isn’t the prettiest.
I’ve got a long toe, etc.”
Furthermore, Bauer challenges Markle’s claims of having Maltese ancestry.
Markle had previously stated that her father’s great-great-grandmother, Mary, lived in Malta and worked as a cook at Windsor Castle.
However, Bauer reveals that while Mary did marry Thomas Byrd, it happened in Dublin, not Malta.
He asserts that Byrd was stationed in India and briefly in Malta before the couple eventually settled in Canada.
These revelations have undoubtedly cast a shadow over Markle’s image.
The public is left questioning the true nature of the woman who captivated the heart of Prince Harry and became a member of the British royal family.
As the drama unfolds, it remains to be seen how Markle will respond to these allegations and what impact they will have on her relationship with the public and the royal family.
