Princess Eugene, a member of the royal family, has set her sights on giving birth in the United Kingdom amidst real royal connections, turning down an offer to have her baby shower in the United States.
The anticipation is building as she readies herself for the arrival of her new baby at Ivy Cottage.
The 32-year-old princess is expected to give birth imminently, as confirmed by her mother, Sarah Ferguson.
While in Los Angeles, Princess Eugene was recently spotted enjoying an art exhibition, sparking curiosity about her accommodations during her visit to the U.S.
Given her close relationship with her cousin, Prince Harry, and his wife, Meghan Markle, it is speculated that she may pay them a visit or even stay with them.
Reports suggest that Princess Eugene and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, are contemplating trading their U.K. residence for a property in the U.S., with sources revealing that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have shared home listings with the royal couple.
Despite Meghan Markle’s eagerness to host a baby shower for Princess Eugene in Los Angeles, the princess surprised many by opting to conceive and deliver her child in the U.K., surrounded by her royal relatives.
She has relocated to Ivy Cottage in preparation for the birth of her second child, a three-bedroom home conveniently located near Portland Hospital, where she gave birth to her first child in February 2021.
Sarah Ferguson disclosed in an interview with iHollaTV that Princess Eugene’s due date for her second child is expected to fall at the end of May.
Alongside her husband and two-year-old son, the royal couple had been residing at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, previously occupied by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during her pregnancy.
However, as the due date approaches, they have chosen to move back to Ivy Cottage for proximity to the London-based hospital.
Ivy Cottage holds sentimental value for Princess Eugene and Jack, being their first shared residence.
It is also in close proximity to Royal Lodge, Princess Eugene’s childhood home where her parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, still reside together.
Additionally, Ivy Cottage is near Apartment 1A in Kensington Palace, the London abode of the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Princess Eugene delightedly announced her second pregnancy via Instagram in January, expressing her excitement for the upcoming addition to their family.
Recently, she participated in the King’s coronation celebrations alongside the royal family, with her sister, Princess Beatrice, representing her at the Chelsea Flower Show.
Princess Eugene took to social media to express her pride in being a patron of the company and shared that her sister had thoroughly enjoyed the event.
