Royal Expert Criticizes Prince Harry and Meghan’s Website Launch Amid King Charles’ Health Struggles

The launch of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new website, Sussex.com, has sparked criticism from a royal expert, who described it as a spiteful move that could add more strain on King Charles during his cancer treatment.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex unveiled their revamped website as part of their rebranding efforts, replacing the previous Archewel.com.

Managed by the Office of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the website serves as a central hub for their initiatives, featuring links to the Archewel Foundation and Archewel Productions, as well as their old platform, Sussex Royal.

Royal commentator Angela Levin voiced her disapproval of the timing of the website launch, highlighting the challenging circumstances faced by the royal family.

With King Charles battling cancer and Princess Kate recovering from recent surgery, Levin expressed concern over the added pressure this move could place on the family.

She emphasized that this was not the first instance of the couple making controversial decisions during sensitive times, referencing their Oprah interview while Prince Philip was hospitalized, suggesting a deliberate attempt to undermine the monarchy.

Levin pointed out the contradiction between Prince Harry’s current actions and the late Queen’s stance against exploiting royal titles for personal gain.

She suggested that the launch of Sussex.com was driven by commercial motives, despite Harry’s previous commitment to refrain from using his titles and crest for financial purposes.

By disregarding these principles, Levin argued that Harry was betraying his family’s legacy and contributing to the escalating tensions within the royal household.

In defense of their decision, sources close to Prince Harry and Meghan asserted that the use of “Sussex” in their website was a reflection of their official titles as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Emphasizing that it was their rightful name and family identity, the couple’s representatives justified the launch of Sussex.com as a legitimate expression of their royal status.

However, this explanation failed to appease critics like Levin, who viewed the move as a calculated strategy to assert dominance and pursue personal interests at the expense of royal traditions.

The controversy surrounding the website launch has reignited debates about the Sussexes’ relationship with the royal family and their approach to public engagements.
