The relationship between the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex appears to have reached a point of no return, with the Prince of Wales showing no signs of forgiveness towards the Duke for his recent actions.
Despite the Duke of Sussex’s memoir, “Spare,” achieving significant commercial success, doubts linger over his prospects of reconciling with the Royal Family.
Royal expert Hilary Fordwyche, speaking to Fox News Digital, revealed that the Prince of Wales has unequivocally prohibited any possibility of the Duke of Sussex reintegrating into the Royal Family.
In his memoir, the Duke of Sussex portrayed the Prince of Wales as stern, irritable, and disapproving of the Duchess, making reconciliation seem increasingly unlikely.
Fordwyche noted that the Prince of Wales, having adopted a strict leadership approach akin to that of Prince Philip, is now viewed as the enforcer within the family.
The expert expressed skepticism about the Prince of Wales ever pardoning the Duke for his perceived transgressions, given the current circumstances.
Since stepping back from his royal duties in 2020, the Duke of Sussex has been vocal in his criticism of the Royal Family, accusing them of racism and inflexibility.
These accusations have further deepened the existing divisions within the family, exacerbating the rift between the Duke and the Prince of Wales.
Despite the Prince of Wales’s firm stance on maintaining silence towards his brother, Fordwyche suggested that the King may be more inclined to seek reconciliation with the Duke.
Speculating on potential future developments, she remarked, “If anyone is likely to soften their stance, it would be the King, as he still harbors affection for his son and desires a closer relationship.”
During the Duke’s recent visit to the UK in May, there was no reported meeting between the siblings, highlighting the strained relations within the Royal Family.
Even as the Duke continues to make public statements and release controversial content like “Spare” and the Netflix series, the Prince of Wales remains resolute in his decision to avoid communication with his brother.
Royal expert Kinsey Schofield emphasized the necessity for the Duke of Sussex to offer an apology in order to bridge the gap with the Royal Family and, specifically, his brother.
