The young members of the royal family, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, have been bestowed with new titles.
They are now officially recognized as princes and princesses of Wales, marking a significant change in their royal status.
Formerly known as members of the Cambridge family, they have now transitioned to Welsh titles.
In a recent announcement made by King Charles, following his ascension to the throne after the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, it was revealed that Prince William and Princess Kate have been designated as the new Prince and Princess of Wales.
Consequently, their three children have also inherited prestigious titles – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are now recognized as the Prince of Wales, Princess of Wales, and Prince of Wales respectively.
With this alteration in titles, the young royals have also experienced a shift in their line of succession.
They now hold the positions of second, third, and fourth in line to the throne, signifying their growing importance within the royal hierarchy.
As a direct consequence of their new titles, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis will now be referred to by different names at their school.
Previously identified as George Cambridge, Charlotte Cambridge, and Louis Cambridge, they will now go by the names George Wells, Charlotte Wells, and Louis Wells.
Recently, Kensington Palace shared updated images of the family’s visit to Lambrook School, where the children are set to commence their education.
The photos depict the boys dressed in matching white-collared shirts paired with navy blue shorts, while Charlotte is seen wearing a charming light blue collared dress.
In light of these developments, a source close to the royal family revealed to Bazaar.com that Prince William and Princess Kate are committed to earning the trust and respect of the people of Wales through their dedicated approach to their roles.
They emphasized the couple’s intention to uphold humility and sincerity, embodying the same values they have demonstrated in their previous endeavors.
