Princess Anne, the UK’s Princess Royal at the age of 73, is highly admired in Britain for her No-Nonsense attitude and unwavering work ethic.

These qualities were on full display as she arrived in Sri Lanka today, becoming the first UK royal to undertake an official overseas engagement this year.

Accompanied by her husband, Sir Timothy Lawrence, Princess Anne effortlessly stepped off the plane at Bandaranaike International Airport in Kachinayak, sporting a pair of retro Adidas sunglasses.

Her demeanor did not go unnoticed by her fans, who have affectionately dubbed her “Boss Lady.”

Taking to the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), one user exclaimed, “Look at this Boss Lady, carrying her own bags and big shout out to the sunnies.”

Another fan expressed their admiration, saying, “That’s why HRH Princess Royal, Princess Anne, is a boss and so loved.”

Coming down the plane carrying bags with both hands is a risky thing to do.

Princess Anne’s self-assuredness was further highlighted as she gracefully descended the stairs of the aircraft without using one hand to steady herself.

This feat impressed many, considering her age of 73.

However, Princess Anne is not the only royal to earn the title of “boss.”
