The Princess of Wales is reportedly in good health following a successful stomach surgery, as confirmed by sources from the palace.
She was admitted to the London Clinic in Marylebone for the planned procedure, which took place yesterday afternoon.
The operation is said to have gone smoothly, and the Princess is currently recuperating well.
Kensington Palace has announced that the future Queen will remain in the hospital for a period of ten to fourteen days before heading back to Windsor to continue her recovery, surrounded by her family’s care.
Fortunately, there are no indications of cancer being involved in the Princess’s medical condition.
It is anticipated that she will be advised to rest and recover for a duration of two to three months, with any potential return to her official duties contingent upon medical recommendations at that time.
Kate is not anticipated to make any public appearances until after the Easter holidays, while Prince William is committed to standing by his wife’s side along with their children during this period.
In a separate health development today, Buckingham Palace disclosed that King Charles III is scheduled for a hospital visit next week to undergo a corrective procedure for an enlarged prostate.
The announcements regarding the health statuses of both royal figures were made within a short span of ninety minutes, with Kensington Palace releasing their statement first at 2pm, followed by Buckingham Palace at 3.30pm.
There were no emergency measures taken with regards to the King’s health over the weekend, indicating that his condition has not worsened.
As a show of support for his spouse, the Prince will be deferring numerous official engagements and refraining from carrying out any royal duties while his wife is receiving medical care.
Furthermore, he will not engage in any official obligations immediately after the Princess’s return home, with a revised schedule for William’s activities set to be provided by royal aides in the near future.
