Royal biographer Angela Levin has commended Princess Charlotte’s participation in Trooping the Colour alongside her family during the King’s official birthday celebrations.
The nine-year-old princess, donned in a sailor-inspired navy blue dress, stood by her mother, Princess Kate, in the carriage procession and later on the balcony for the grand finale of the day.
Levin, speaking to GB News, expressed admiration for Princess Charlotte’s exceptional conduct throughout the event, highlighting her care towards her siblings and mother.
She described Charlotte as an extraordinary child who actively engaged with the crowd, even helping to clear raindrops from the windows as they returned from the event.
During the festivities, Princess Charlotte playfully scolded her brother Louis for his antics, showcasing her nurturing side within the family dynamic.
Levin humorously recounted the moment when Charlotte reprimanded Louis for his playful behavior, emphasizing the young princess’s sense of responsibility and humor in managing her siblings.
In a touching gesture, Levin suggested that Princess Charlotte’s attentiveness towards her brothers was a way of supporting her mother, especially during her first public appearance since her cancer diagnosis.
Levin noted that Charlotte’s actions were motivated by her deep affection for her mother, emphasizing the heartwarming reunion of the family unit during the event.
Observing the royal lineup on the balcony, Levin and Nana Akua remarked on the scaled-down presence of the monarchy, with only a select few members in attendance to witness the RAF flypast.
Levin highlighted the deliberate choice to limit the number of attendees, citing concerns for the health and safety of vulnerable family members such as Catherine and Charles.
Praising Princess Kate’s return to public life, Levin lauded her grace and elegance, noting her stunning appearance at the event.
Levin commended Princess Catherine for her selfless dedication to her family, exemplified by her choice of attire and accessories, including the exquisite pearl and diamond earrings that captured global attention.
Kate’s choice of jewelry, particularly the 18-count yellow gold pearl and diamond earrings, was a focal point of admiration among royal enthusiasts.
The earrings, previously worn by the Princess of Wales at Prince Louis’s christening in 2018, were expertly analyzed by Tobias Cormind, emphasizing the symbolism of pearls as representations of purity, wisdom, and nurturing energy associated with femininity.
