Buckingham Palace has made a significant adjustment to Prince Harry’s status by removing his title of His Royal Highness from the Royal Family website.
This alteration comes in alignment with the agreement reached between Harry and the Palace following his and Meghan’s decision to step back from their senior royal duties, also known as Megxit.
The decision, made three years ago, dictated that neither Harry nor Meghan would utilize their HRH titles.
As part of the terms agreed upon in January 2020, Harry, aged 38, and Meghan, aged 41, are no longer entitled to use their HRH titles after relinquishing their official roles within the royal family.
The term HRH, denoting His or Her Royal Highness, is traditionally used before the names of princes, princesses, and their spouses.
In a recent amendment to the Royal Website, two references to Harry have been updated to reflect his title as the Duke of Sussex or simply the Duke.
This revision was prompted by a report highlighting the oversight, published by the British outlet Express last Friday.
Meghan’s HRH title was removed from her official biography three years ago following their relocation to Los Angeles post-Megxit.
Her profile on the website now refers to her as the Duchess or simply as she, omitting the formal title of Her Royal Highness.
Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice’s biography has been enhanced with the addition of a new royal role as Counsellor of State.
This prestigious position allows Princess Beatrice to represent King Charles during official engagements.
Calls have surfaced urging for the removal of both Prince Andrew and Prince Harry from their positions as Counsellors of State.
Prince Andrew’s association with the late Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Harry’s involvement in Megxit have fueled these demands, leading to Harry being replaced by Princess Beatrice in this advisory capacity.
As Princess Beatrice commemorates her 35th birthday today, August 8th, she has been bestowed with an additional royal title due to her marriage to Eduardo Mappalimosi.
Despite not being an active member of the royal family, Princess Beatrice holds the HRH status and occupies the ninth spot in the line of succession, following her father, Prince Andrew.
However, her marital union with an Italian Count has elevated her status to that of a Countess, making her marriage unique within the royal hierarchy.
Their daughter, Sienna, who will soon turn two, has also been granted the title of Nobile Donna since birth.
In a heartfelt tribute shared on Instagram last month, Eduardo expressed his deep affection for Princess Beatrice on their wedding anniversary.
Accompanied by never-before-seen photographs from their special day, Eduardo’s message conveyed his gratitude for the moments they have shared, the challenges they have overcome, and the dreams they have pursued together.
He professed his love for Princess Beatrice and eagerly anticipated celebrating many more anniversaries with her, signifying the enduring bond between them.
