Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella of Monaco had an eventful weekend, showcasing their youthful charm alongside their father, Prince Albert, and other family members at the International Circus Festival in Monte Carlo.
The nine-year-old royal twins captivated the audience with their participation in an afternoon performance on Sunday.
Dressed in colorful scarves that added a festive touch to their outfits, Prince Jacques donned a stylish blue design while Princess Gabriella opted for the iconic red and white colors of the Principality, both accessorizing with woolen accessories.
As they made their entrance to the sound of the clown band and a centenary portrait of Prince Rainier in the background, the children graciously posed for photographers, with Gabriella beaming as she held a beautiful bouquet.
Observant attendees noted that Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella were also seen carrying souvenirs adorned with Circus Giga’s battery-operated lights, adding to the whimsical atmosphere of the festival.
This year’s edition marks the fiftieth anniversary of the festival, established by Prince Rainier, and the royal palace was brimming with spectators eager to witness the colorful spectacle.
In the company of their aunt, Princess Stephanie, who serves as the president of the festival’s organizing committee, the twins were joined by their cousins Kaya Rose and Bodie Whitstock, along with other young attendees of similar ages.
The group, accompanied by their parents, including Gareth, Princess Charlene’s brother, and Rosen Whitstock, delighted in selecting light-up magic wands as keepsakes from the event.
The forty-sixth installment of the circus festival featured a lineup of familiar acts that have become favorites among children over the years.
Notable performers such as horse trainer Alexis Gers and the renowned Fellini clown Enrico Formali returned to entertain the audience, showcasing their talents and bringing joy to all in attendance.
