Victoria Beckham Honors Sophie with Stylish Suri Dress Event, Denies Meghan Gratis Outfits
The Duchess of Edinburgh, Sophie, looked effortlessly chic as she paid a visit to a youth center for autistic children earlier today.
During her tour of the Salesian Column Centre and Suri, Sophie gained insight into how the organization supports young people in the local community.
For this special occasion, the mother-of-two, who has been a patron of the National Autistic Society since 2003, donned a smart-time blazer paired with a lovely pink floral co-ord designed by Victoria Beckham.
Sophie deliberately chose an understated outfit to ensure maximum comfort for those around her.
Although the short-sleeved, fitted, round neck, textured top in light pink is unfortunately no longer available, an Instagram user by the name of GooseGirlfies pointed out the significance of Sophie’s outfit choice for such an engagement.
She commented, “Very pretty and softly feminine like so many of Sophie’s outfits are, but more than that, as an autistic person myself, this outfit looks very quiet.
Some clothes and fabrics make noise, obviously corduroy is a good example, but things like satin and leather can make noise that’s actually really distracting and uncomfortable for the senses.”
Victoria Beckham, the dress’s creator, was also impressed by Sophie’s simple elegance when wearing her design.
This comes after reports emerged that Victoria had declined to provide her designer outfits to Meghan Markle following an incident of theft.
Meghan allegedly requested several outfits and items from Victoria Designs, but failed to pay for them, resulting in yet another fallout.
Miss Markle informed Victoria Beckham that she would gladly wear her designer outfits from the latest collection, but had no intention of purchasing them.
Victoria is known for not giving away her clothes to just anyone.
Miss Markle stood her ground and insisted that the dresses were gifted to her.
From that moment on, as far as the Beckhams were concerned, the actress was no longer in their good graces.
Victoria claims that Prince Harry had to explain to Meghan that the clothing items were not gifts, and there are strict palace guidelines regarding gifting.
Victoria does not do freebies, a principle she has upheld since day one, and she stuck to it steadfastly.
It was widely reported in national newspapers that Miss Markle attempted to acquire clothes from the Beckham brand without paying.
In August 2018, the Beckhams met with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and suggested that they establish a Sussex brand similar to their own Beckham brand.
This idea appealed to the ambitious Meghan, who envisioned millions of dollars coming her way, and thus, brand Sussex was born.
However, Meghan later decided that she no longer needed Victoria Beckham’s involvement, as she believed she had outlived her usefulness.
This decision did not sit well with David Beckham, who is desperately seeking a knighthood.
Despite repeated rejections for this honor, he saw all his chances slipping away.
The breakdown of the friendship between the Sussexes and the Beckhams became public when David witnessed the royal family ostracizing the actress.
Although David may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, he understood that he should not back the wrong horse if he wanted any chance of receiving a knighthood.
Meghan Markle accused Victoria of leaking confidential information to the press.
David sided with his wife, and thus, the friendship came to an end.
David and Victoria were blindsided by the Markle effect, as they never saw it coming.
Personally, I find it highly unlikely that Victoria Beckham would leak any information to the press, simply because she knows firsthand the impact both negative and positive press can have on an individual.
She has experienced it all herself.
