The Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine, delighted royal enthusiasts on Saturday evening as she joined members of the Royal Family for the annual Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall.
Catherine looked absolutely elegant in her Epo 9 London dress, which had previously made its debut in February 2020.
The last time she wore this stunning ensemble was during her visit to the Noel Coward Theatre in London, where she attended a special performance of Dear Evan Hansen in support of the Royal Foundation.
On that occasion, she had paired the dress with sparkling accessories.
However, for her appearance at the Royal Albert Hall, she opted for black stiletto shoes and a black clutch bag, perfectly complementing her attire.
With her hair left down and her makeup flawlessly applied, Catherine’s overall look was simply exquisite.
However, this year’s event was missing a significant presence – Her Majesty the Queen.
Buckingham Palace released a statement explaining that, following recent advice from her doctors, the Queen was advised to rest for a few days.
In fact, her doctors have recommended that she continue resting for at least the next two weeks.
While Her Majesty can still carry out light desk-based duties and virtual audiences during this time, she is advised against undertaking any official visits.
Unfortunately, this means that she was unable to attend the Festival of Remembrance on Saturday, November 13.
Nevertheless, the Queen remains determined to be present for the National Service of Remembrance on Remembrance Sunday, which falls on November 14.
This year’s Festival of Remembrance held particular significance as it marked the return of an audience after the event had to be held without one in 2020 due to the ongoing pandemic.
In 2019, Catherine had made a memorable appearance, captivating everyone with her choice of an elegant dark blue midi dress that featured a fitted waistband.
She had also styled her signature glossy brown hair in loose waves and sported a £17.99 padded rhinestone headband from the popular High Street brand, Zara.
The Festival of Remembrance is a solemn occasion dedicated to honoring all those who have served and made sacrifices for Britain and the Commonwealth.
