In a recent interview with P. Dina, Thomas Markle, the father of Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, expressed his belief that it was for the best that his daughter did not attend the coronation of King Charles.
Speaking to the Mail on Sunday, Markle cited the numerous disagreements between Meghan, Prince Harry, and the royal family as the reason behind his opinion.
Despite this, he expressed joy in witnessing the warm reception the British people gave to their new king and queen.
During the interview, Markle also divulged surprising details about Meghan’s journey to motherhood.
When asked if Meghan had ever faced concerns about her ability to have children, Markle revealed that she had frozen her eggs with the intention of using them in the future.
He assumed that Archie, their first child, was conceived using these frozen eggs.
The timeline aligns with their visit to Canada in November and the subsequent announcement of Meghan’s pregnancy with Lilibet in February, leading to speculation about the use of a fertility clinic in Canada.
Samantha, Meghan’s half-sister, previously claimed that their father, Thomas Markle, confirmed the retrieval of frozen eggs in Los Angeles in July, which interestingly coincided with the alleged conception period of Archie.
Samantha suggested the possibility of a surrogate mother based on evidence she had seen.
While there is no issue with surrogacy or assisted reproductive technologies, Samantha criticized Meghan for lying about it, particularly considering the strong opposition to commercial surrogacy among feminists.
The concern arises if Meghan deliberately deceived the monarch and the inner circle about her means of conception, as it could potentially interfere with the current line of succession and its legal implications.
Lady C, a well-connected personality, has referred to this as “meganancy” or “meganant,” alluding to the possibility of surrogacy.
Lady C, known for her dramatic nature, possesses a deep understanding of the law due to her previous work in her brother’s law firm and her experience with defamation lawsuits against the media.
Her insinuations about surrogacy suggest that there may be some truth to the claims.
In another interview with Australian news program Seven News Spotlight, Mr. Markle expressed his disappointment at his daughter’s lack of contact, revealing that she had not called him in four years.
He emphasized that he would not allow his daughter to bury him while he is still alive.
Markle suffered a severe stroke last year, and he hoped that this would have prompted Meghan to reach out.
However, her absence during his health crisis left him questioning what it would take to move her.
The strained relationship between Meghan and her father reached its peak in 2018 when he collaborated with paparazzi to stage photos before her wedding to Prince Harry.
Meghan addressed this strained dynamic in her Netflix documentary, “Harry and Meghan,” which aired earlier this year.
