Lady Colin Campbell Accuses Meghan Markle of Playing the Race Card

In a recent interview on Good Friday, Lady Colin Campbell, a Jamaican-born British socialite, made explosive allegations against Meghan Markle.

Lady Campbell accused the Duchess of Sussex of playing the race card to excuse her bad behavior and claimed that Prince Harry would never have married her if she had been different.

These remarks come after Meghan accused the royal family of expressing concerns about Archie’s skin color before he was born due to her mixed-race background.

According to Lady Campbell, Princess Anne’s alleged comments were not about the color of the child but rather a critique of Meghan’s character and her tendency to use her race as a defense.

Lady Campbell stated, “Megan weaponizes everything…as long as she plays this card, she gets a free pass to behave badly.”

She further criticized Meghan for lacking boundaries and justifying her actions by constantly playing the race card.

When asked about Meghan’s treatment by the press, Lady Campbell dismissed claims of unfair treatment, stating that Meghan was attacked like any other public figure in Britain.

She described Meghan as a “born complainer” and a “drama queen.”

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s highly publicized interview with Oprah Winfrey has faced criticism for allegedly betraying viewers’ trust.

The publisher of the Daily Mail, Associated Newspapers, has sent legal letters to Harpo Productions and broadcaster CBS, accusing them of misleading viewers through the use of a headline montage in the program.

The publisher claims that the montage was misleading and did not address the concerns raised.

Elizabeth Hartley, AN Group’s editorial legal director, stressed that broadcasting faked images is a betrayal of viewers’ trust and damages the credibility of program content.

The publisher provided examples of fake-edited Daily Mail headlines used in the show, as well as foreign publications masquerading as British press headlines.

AN claims that these misleading tactics were unnecessary if the allegations made by Meghan and Harry were accurate.

Questioning the Authenticity of Headlines

The authenticity of the headlines used in the Oprah interview has also been called into question.

The Telegraph analyzed more than 30 headlines portrayed as UK-based and found that 11 stories were from American and Australian tabloids.

Additionally, headlines used to allege bias by UK newspapers were actually reports exposing racial slurs made by others.

ITV, the UK broadcaster that aired the interview, decided to remove four headlines from the montage after the initial airing.

Meghan Markle’s Performance and Self-Absorption

Critics have also commented on Meghan Markle’s performance during the Oprah interview.

They argue that she appears completely self-absorbed and oblivious to anything except herself.

They describe her as constantly giving a performance, carefully composing her expressions to suit each occasion.

Some speculate whether Meghan has always been this way or if she developed this personality over time.

They point out that even at the age of 8, Meghan played the part of a princess and bossed everyone around at a birthday party that wasn’t even hers.

A Snake Lying in Wait

As Meghan faces backlash and loses support, observers compare her to a snake lying in wait.

They believe she is now retreating, possibly to recover from the aftermath of the Oprah interview or plan her next move.

Speculation arises about the possibility of a second baby, photos of Archie, or announcements coinciding with the Queen’s real birthday on April 21st.
