Prince William and Kate Middleton have delighted fans by sharing new behind-the-scenes pictures from the second awards ceremony of the Earthshot Prize, which took place in Boston, Massachusetts.
The black-and-white snap shows the Prince of Wales looking absolutely smitten with his wife, who smiles back at him.
The couple released the photo through their official Twitter account, along with a brief message celebrating the prize and its five winners.
The tweet reads, “Behind the Scenes at the 2nd Annual Hush Earthshot Prize Awards Ceremony.
Celebrating brilliant solutions and the inspiring people behind them.”
In addition to this picture, a second tweet features more images, including one of Prince William listening attentively from the sidelines of the stage during the televised awards ceremony, which aired on BBC on Sunday at 5.30pm.
Another photo, taken by royal photographer Chris Jackson, offers a view from behind as Kate walks towards the center of the stage to announce one of the winners.
The final picture shared by the couple captures Kate clapping and gazing at her husband while he delivers a speech.
William and Kate spent three days in Boston last week, where they visited various organizations focused on the environment, early years development, and supporting vulnerable young people.
They also celebrated the new winners of the Earthshot Prize, an initiative launched by Prince Charles in October 2020.
The prize aims to address pressing global issues such as climate change, pollution, and waste, and inspire innovative solutions to safeguard the planet.
This year’s Earthshot Prize winners were honored for their outstanding contributions towards finding sustainable solutions.
The prize, spanning the next decade, seeks to encourage individuals and organizations to take action and make a positive impact on the world.
