In a poignant ceremony filled with sorrow and remembrance, the funeral of Thomas Kingston unfolded within the hallowed walls of St. James’s Palace.

The Chapel Royal, adorned with mournful elegance, became a sanctuary for the grieving as they bid farewell to the beloved 45-year-old.

Approximately 140 cherished friends and family members gathered with heavy hearts to pay their respects as the funeral commenced at 11.30 am.

Led by a sombre procession, the coffin, accompanied by close kin, traversed the halls of Kensington Palace to reach its final destination.

The air was heavy with grief as the sub-dean of the Chapel’s Royal, the Rev Canon Paul Wright, guided the mourners through a one-hour service.

The former Bishop of London, the RT Rev Richard Chartreau, delivered a poignant sermon, offering solace to those left behind.

Among the mourners stood Prince William, Lady Gabriella Windsor, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, the Duke of Kent, and Princess Alexandra, their sorrow etched upon their faces.

The absence of the King and the Queen, due to their own personal circumstances, was felt keenly, their spirits present in the hearts of all who gathered.

Following the service, a private cremation shrouded in secrecy took place, with the final resting place of Mr. Kingston undisclosed.

The significance of the chosen date did not go unnoticed by devoted followers of the Royal couple.

March 12 held a poignant connection to Thomas and Lady Gabriella, marking the anniversary of their first public appearance together nine years ago.

A bittersweet reminder of the love they shared, now forever tinged with loss.

The circumstances surrounding Mr. Kingston’s untimely demise were revealed during an inquest earlier this month.

A traumatic head wound claimed his life, with a gun discovered near his lifeless body.

The shocking news sent shockwaves through the community, shedding light on the sudden tragedy that unfolded within the confines of his family’s abode.

Senior Coroner Katie Skerritt provided an overview of the circumstances surrounding his demise during the hearing.

Mr. Kingston was visiting his ancestral abode nestled in the picturesque Cotswolds.

On the 25th of February, he partook in a midday repast with his doting parents before his father discovered him lifeless with a grievous head wound.

Despite the heavy hearts of the mourners, the memory of Thomas Kingston lingers in the air, leaving behind a void that could never be filled.

In the midst of sorrow, the love and support of family and friends offer a glimmer of hope, a beacon of light in the darkest of times.

Lady Gabriella paid tribute to her beloved husband, describing him as an extraordinary individual who illuminated the lives of all fortunate enough to know him.

Although Lady Gabriella is not an active member of the Royal Family, she and Mr. Kingston’s family are receiving support from the Royal Household during this challenging time.

The King and Queen, along with Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, grieve the loss of a beloved family member, extending their deepest condolences and prayers to Gabriella and the entire Kingston family.
