This year-long celebration marks the deep cultural ties between the two countries and commemorates the 70th anniversary of India’s independence.<\/p>\n

The event will feature a series of exhibitions and activities held in both nations.<\/p>\n

The reception at Buckingham Palace showcased the best of British and Indian culture and creativity, attracting a host of high-profile guests from various fields.<\/p>\n

Among the attendees were Kunal Nayyar, Neha Kapoor, Ayesha Dhaka, Kapil Dev, Rio Ferdinand, Anoushka Shankar, and Jo Wright, representing performing arts, fashion, food, literature, and sports.<\/p>\n

One of the highlights of the evening was the display from the Royal Collection, which included artifacts from previous royal visits to India, as well as Indian gifts and manuscripts from the Royal Library.<\/p>\n
