Princess Catherine made a dazzling appearance at Tuesday’s State Banquet held at Buckingham Palace, marking her first tiara debut in nearly three years.<\/p>\n

The banquet, which was part of King Charles III’s first state visit, welcomed the esteemed President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, to the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n

For this elegant evening affair, Princess Catherine donned a breathtaking white gown designed by Jenny Packham.<\/p>\n

Adorning her head was her go-to headpiece for such occasions, the iconic Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot Tiara.<\/p>\n

This exquisite tiara, featuring diamond knots with pearls delicately hanging from them, was also a beloved choice of her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.<\/p>\n

To complete her regal ensemble, Catherine wore a pair of earrings previously owned by Princess Diana, which she had recently worn during the Remembrance Sunday service.<\/p>\n

He embellished his suit with the Garter Star, the Thistle Star, and three miniature medals representing Queen Elizabeth’s three jubilees: Gold in 2002, Diamond in 2012, and Platinum in 2022.<\/p>\n

This state visit holds particular significance as it is the first hosted by the British Royal Family since the visit of then-U.S. President Donald Trump in 2019.<\/p>\n

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, such events have been limited.<\/p>\n

Princess Catherine’s most recent tiara appearance prior to this banquet was at the diplomatic corps reception in December 2019, an annual gathering attended by around 1,000 guests, including ambassadors, high commissioners, and government officials.<\/p>\n
