In a surprising turn of events, King Charles has suffered a significant blow to his popularity as he finds himself ranked lower than both Zara Tindall and Princess Anne in the latest YouGov survey.

This poll sheds light on the shifting dynamics within the British royal family, with unexpected figures rising in popularity.

According to the YouGov poll, King Charles came in sixth place, trailing behind five other members of the royal family.

Zara Tindall, the monarch’s niece, secured a higher rank, as did Princess Anne, his sister.

Princess Anne claimed the fourth position with an impressive 64% approval rating, while Zara Tindall followed closely in fifth place with 54% approval, despite not being a working royal.

Zara Tindall, renowned for her prowess as a professional equestrian, is married to former England rugby union player Mike Tindall.

The couple shares three children together, namely Mia, Lena, and Lucas.

On the other hand, Princess Anne continues to be a firm favorite among the public, earning the title of the hardest working royal in 2023.

Throughout the year, she carried out an astounding 457 engagements, surpassing everyone else in the royal family.

King Charles, unfortunately, only managed to achieve a 52% approval rating in this poll.

Meanwhile, his eldest son, Prince William, and daughter-in-law, Princess Kate, claimed the third and second spots, respectively, as the most popular living royals in 2023.

Prince William garnered a 69% approval rating, while Princess Kate achieved an impressive 71%.

Even after more than a year since her passing, the late Queen Elizabeth continues to hold the top position with a remarkable 80% approval rating.
